Customizing the XZ-15GW-B Micro Switch for a Wastewater Pump Control System

Demand： A Hungarian manufacturer of wastewater pump control equipment had been using XURUI switches for nearly ten years. The customer purchased the XZ-15GW-B micro switch in batches of approximately 500 pieces for use in a pump control system. For many years, the switches had generally met its production requirements.

Solution： After understanding the actual operating conditions, XURUI adjusted the switch specifically for the customer's equipment.The solution included:•Removing an internal spring to reduce the required operating force •Adjusting the switch response to match the customer's rotating mechanism •Using MCU-assisted testing to measure and control the operating-force range •Producing new samples for verification in the customer's actual equipmentInstead of asking the customer to redesign the complete pump control mechanism, XURUI adapted the switch to the existing application.
